UK Housing Market Doing Better Than Europe

According to newly released figures, the UK housing market is much better placed than other European countries.

European Housing Review 2008 from The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (“Rics”)  shows that price growth across the continent has slowed.  Despite this, the UK was highlighted as  being in better health than European counterparts.  The reports author commented that interest rates will be playing an important role in the 2008 UK house price movements.

“The UK housing market looks much better placed than many others in Europe” said professor Michael Ball from Reading University.
