This local church-based charity gives Warrington a shoulder to lean on. Besides their year-round charity work, they also open their church doors 24/7 over the Christmas period, providing hot food, drinks and company for people less fortunate than others. WODAC stands for Warrington Open Door at Christmas!
They also provide food parcels, making sure people aren’t walking away without a snack and drink for later.
Wodac store their catering equipment and food supplies with us, which is especially helpful when they need access at short notice. Smart Storage have a notice board on our Warrington site which they use for any flyers to promote their up and coming events. Our reception is also used as a drop off point for donations too!
St Roccos and Smart Storage have a long standing and close relationship together. Believe us when we say it’s one for pulling on your heart strings.
While this fabulous charity provides care for those coping with a life-limiting illness, they also provide memory books for terminally ill children as well as organising some show stopping parties for them. At the parties, all the kids are given a gift! These gifts are stored here at our Warrington store, as they need plenty of space for all the presents! We also donate a large amount of our toys from the yearly toy appeal to St Roccos. After all, parties and toys go hand in hand!
This spectacular charity has several retail outlets in Warrington, which also helps. Their staff can be seen wondering around Smart Storage, collecting and dropping off stock from their stores. They’re constantly busy- trust us! Keep up the good work team!
Warrington Warriors Swimming Club
With this one, the clue is in the title. While they are a swimming club, they are also a registered charity. They encourage all ages to compete in local and national swimming competitions; but this all comes with the need for storage space! They store anything from certificates to swimming aids, and even some drums which they use during competitions.
The team at Smart Storage have a long-standing relationship with the Warrington Warriors. When they pop in to grab something from the unit or check on things, we can’t help but have a chin-wag and a brew! It would be rude not to.
The Warriors meet most weekends and are always on the lookout for new members of their rapidly growing club. All the help to keep them afloat is welcome. Let’s get swimming!
